What are the rules to get Denmark Green Card?

Denmark is one country who is waiting for professionals to come to Denmark and work there. After spending five years working in Denmark, can apply for Denmark citizenship if there are no criminal records against the applicant. The Green Card to Denmark and working there is issued on the basis of individual’s evaluation under point based system. All those who score 100 points are applicable to apply for Denmark Green card.

Also, if you get Green Card, the client does not need work permit, as all in Green Card are permitted to work in Denmark.

All who are have Denmark Green Card and move there, are eligible to work anywhere in Europe as Denmark is part of EU (European Union) other than United Kingdom, as it is not a part of Schengen countries.

Now let us explain you how to apply for Green Card and how to calculate your points to know if you are applicable or no. The points are calculated like this:
\
  •   Education: The first thing is that you should have the degree equivalent to Danish degree. The bachelors are mostly in other countries take 3 years but Danish want 4 year degree to get points. If you are bachelors, get 30 points; Bachelors with one year of Masters, gives 50 points; Masters gives 60 points and PhD gives 80 points.
  • IF the Education is related to the positive list mentioned under ministry of high education and science, then will get 10 points as bonus.
  • English: Although you get points for Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and German language also, but we Go For Visa, are putting only English as this more prominent than other languages. If you score 3.0 band in IELTS will get 5 points, from 3.5 to 4.5 will get 10 points, From 5.0-6.0 bands then will score 15 points, IELTS score of 6.5 or above will score 20 points.
  • Work Experience: The experience is calculated only in the last five years. If you have 1-2 years of experience in positive list, then will get 10 points. If the client has 3-5 years of experience and is under positive list then will score 15 points. But if anyone has 3-5 years of experience but not in positive list, then will get 5 points only.
  • Age: It depends on the day the client submits the application. If the client is in 35-40 years of age, then will get 10 points. And if the age is under 35 years, then will get 15 points.

IF the points are 100, then you are applicable to apply for the same. Go For Visa can help you to calculate your points, free of cost and also will help you for applying for the same. Just send your CV at info@goforvisa.com and we will help you for the same.

2.  All are applicable if they score 100 points for Denmark Green Card, or no?
Denmark has made the rules for Green Card Visa. This means that anyone who scores 100 points is eligible for applying and getting Green Card for Denmark. This visa gives them the full right to work and live in Denmark for the first three years. After three years can apply for extension of one year and then can apply for extension of four years.

As per the rules, yes all who score 100 points are applicable to get Green Card of Denmark. To calculate the points, you need to see the points in terms of Age, Language, Work experience and Education. But even if you are applicable for Green card and are scoring the points as 100 or more then also need to take care of few things before you apply for your application.

Firstly, you have to see that you have got your Education assessment done. Only in the category of Mechanical Engineer, Building Engineer, Naval Architect, Electrical Engineer, and IT Engineer you do not have to get the educational documents attested by Danish Authorization otherwise, you first need to have your educational documents authorized by related Danish Authorities.

There is also a difference in Bachelors degree in many streams from India. In India or many other countries in general, bachelors of few occupations is done in 3 years but in Denmark these are mostly done in 4 years, therefore need to take care on that.

Also you need to take care of one more thing, which many people forget. This is about points you get under work experience. If the category of profession you are applying for is not included in the positive list then as per your work experience of 3-5 years will not get full points, will only get 5 points for the same.  If you want permanent residency in Denmark to become their citizen after Denmark Green Card, you have to spend 5 years in this Green Card Visa and then are applicable to settle in Denmark for your future. All you need to see is that you have not under criminal activity.
